After eleven wonderful years in Auckland, Diane and Gordon decided to escape the big city lifestyle. As passionate sailors, they were drawn to the stunning Bay of Islands. During their search, they discovered The Sewing Shop in Kerikeri was for sale. It felt like the perfect opportunity—and in March 2016, Diane took over the business and rebranded it as All You Needle.

With a fresh new name came exciting changes: the shop was renovated, and the sewing supplies range expanded to create an improved shopping experience. Diane’s passion has always been to inspire people to create, sew, and craft, and that vision continues to guide everything we do.

Three years ago, work commitments brought us across the ditch to Brisbane, Australia. Even from here, Diane still manages the store and oversees buying. This move has opened up new opportunities to improve our range and keep prices affordable. We’re proud to say we’ve started designing our own range of products—Kiwi-designed and made in Brisbane.

Today, All You Needle is more than just a local sewing shop. We’ve grown to include an eBay store in Australia, making it easier for customers to access our products wherever they are. Our mission remains the same: to inspire creativity and provide quality fabrics, sewing notions, and craft supplies for makers everywhere.
