Extra Fine 42 Gauge
Barbs on 3 sides. Ax extra fine needle . Use it for the final stages of sculpting where you want to smooth and finish the surface
Fine 40 Gauge
Barbs on 3 sides. A fine needle for detail work and getting a neat surface. Best not to use it when working with coarse fibres or for rough sculpting/bulk work. Use in later Stages of sculpting where you want to start smoothing and finishing the surface.
Medium 38
Barbs on three sides. A great general needle for the middle stages of sculting your project.
Coarse 36
Barbs on 3 sides. This is a sturdy needle and used for the beginning stages of felting. It helps the shaping go faster
