Step‑by‑Step Guide

  1. Prepare your fabric
Start with clean, pressed fabric for the best results. Lay it on a protected, non-stick surface.

  2. Apply the first coat
Using a brush or applicator, spread a thin, even layer of Odicoat over the fabric.

  3. Let it dry
Allow the coating to dry (around 20–60 minutes depending on conditions).

  4. Build up layers
Apply 2–3 coats for your desired finish:

    • 1 coat → water‑repellent finish
    • 2 coats → coated fabric feel
    • 3 coats → full waterproof, oilcloth-style finish
  5. Set the coating
Once dry, press with a warm iron (no steam) using baking/parchment paper to protect your iron.

  6. Cure completely
Leave for 24 hours to fully cure before cutting or sewing.

Helpful Tips

  • Apply thin coats for a smooth, even finish
  • Work on a protected surface (silicone mat or similar)
  • Always test on a scrap piece first
  • Perfect for both pre-cut fabric or finished projects
